SUIID '05 to meet again!

Cully

After 20 years SUIID will meet again. There are questions to be answered, what's the venue? Who will come? When will it be?

Through the questions, we have found some clarity:

"Latecomers summary: We all question our life choices. Reminisce about fun/dangerous hijinks. At SU, Sarah taught Robs class, confirms change to SUIID study to 4 years, then shamelessly shills AI podcast. Mr Bunker’s goofy laugh has not changed. Colin denies his child the college experience he now cherishes (classic Boomer move). Emily is on the front lines of the toddler brain-rot epidemic. Lisa has a Furry coworker (lucky her). And a long lost glue-gun has be located, signed: C U L L Y"

Latecomers summary 2: People have kids and own dogs. Meg has a cat, and also, for some reason, spells the word “kanji” as “congee” which is really fucking odd. We call her Cat, because she’s a goddamn bulldozer out there in the dirt. Matt can’t get tattoos because he’s Irish. Adam is great at spotting AI images but can’t seem to handle Contacts on his smartphone. We found him! Stu is Waldo, be he also threatens his children with alcohol wipes (you monster). Mark “Jesus Was My Roommate In College” Bunker has future in drag (serving???)

ClayFest Northwest 2025

ClayFest Northwest is a mini festival/workshop for women and trans folks being held this summer on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. The focus will be on the artful integration of clay and earthen materials into the home. Picture all your favorite natural building babes camping in a field, sharing stories, skills and techniques, singing, dancing, and playing in the mud. It’s going to be absolute magic.

Get yourself a shed.

Not the worst shed but not the best either. I bought the 6’x 4’ model, and let me just say, every button I have was pushed to put that shed together. The holes did not line up, instructions made absolutely no sense on assembly. The roof is easier to put together on the ground and then attach to the walls. I highly suggest using self tapping screws to assemble instead of the centimeter screws and plastic washer they send. Also, they sent tent stakes to stake down the frame but we used rebar stakes. I’m not absolutely mad at how it turned out since it is for my chickens.

Hey guys, just found a great tattoo artist

I never really wanted a tattoo, but this stuff is so cool I might reconsider!
