create-a-logo for Post-Modem 2.0?

So you could make an image, upload it and it'd automatically add "Post-modem" to it, then it would show a random one each time you came here.good idea/bad idea?

Sick of this

after doing this project, god i see womens tools all the time, and i would say 90% are pink. It's getting pretty rediculous. What i really want to know is if they even sell. Plus I feel like a jerk having it in my portfolio. Anyway when you buy this pink hammer $6 goes to the breast cancer foundation, which if your gonna have pink hammer at least there is a good reason. I know a bunch of us had this idea and it all got shot down by the professors. Just goes to show ya

Syracuse Homecoming

Syracuse homecoming the weekend of October the 7th and 8th. Had a good time last year tailgating and am looking to have a good time this year. Also on the list of craziness will most def be a trip to the Dino BBQ before leaving. Those who want in or need a place to stay let me know so we can reserve space at Rosies humble abode. is the pink here to stay?

pink and brown can look good, but not with the little yellow accents (ie the outline around "Post-modem") . kinda looks choppy. my 2 cents.

A car for US to be proud of

they say it's a 2009 ford focus. with all the job cuts it looks like they need to save money to afford the tooling to be able to make this stuff. they're rebuilding the plant, too, rebuilding detroit at the same time... we'll see.

Stormking

didn't make it to nextfest but whent to Stormking sculpture park. It's amazing. kind of like Jurrasic park, but the dinosaurs don't move. Now's a good time to go, when the leaves are changing. It was well worth it. it's by Beacon off rt 87.

Hello from Fenner

a couple pictures of the house project. I worked mostly on the second floor framing. It took about 12 people to help raise the big walls. a 1-2-3-lift! sort of thing. the bottom walls are hollow modular styrofoam blocks stacked and filled with concrete, pretty cool. they've got 120 acres of property. its like owning a small state park. pear and apple trees, deer, various bird creatures, small pond.

Sitting on the SU quad right now, bumming wireless. Met with Carr and Heckman and also met the new professor, Mike and heard about his "wabi-sabi" project. He's looking to make mass produced objects more organic and chaotic. Pretty much the opposite of what i'm doing, so you can imagine how excited Carr was about us conversing...things haven't changed a bit.

Should the blog and links be integrated?

maybe you could choose to mark articles that will need a longer life when you add them, so things like Sarah's Labor Day party could stay at the top for a while (in a separate box) but you wouldn't have to visit two pages.

I was thinking there'd be a second column on the right, that would have the most recent 5 or 6 articles that people chose to put there to or articles that have 10 or more comments. Sort of a section for threads that last a long time that's separate from the passing threads.

Way to go Computer Programmers!!!!

I got this freelance job as a "Webmaster" a while ago. Immediately after hearing the word "Webmaster" I knew it was going to be horrible, but it's for a family friend so I took it. It turns out the site is a mess, the guy that ran it before is a smart guy, in things other than the structure of web pages. Today I found this gem, to paraphrase: "Log in if you forgot your password"
